Fish tacos… my absolute go-to.

I basically order fish tacos every single time I am out to eat while on an ocean vacation. They are just too good to pass up.

My brother lives in South Florida and sent me a picture of his lunch, which instantly made me crave/need fish tacos right then and there. Before starting this blog, I hardly cooked with fish but I am telling you guys, you should not be intimidated by it!

Back to my brother living in South Florida… every time I visit him, which is at least twice a year we try to go to new restaurant spots because he loves food just as much as me.

The Robalo Chileno tacos from Bakan in Wynwood, FL are SO good - chilean seabass, veggies, yuzu-basil, guacamole & black beans. They also pair their mezcal drinks with food.

Casablanca Cafe is right on the beach in Fort Lauderdale - it’s been a family favorite of ours for years. Lime cilantro fish tacos are my go-to, but only served during lunch.

  • pink salt & black pepper to taste

  • Whisk wet ingredients together in a bowl and then pour over cabbage mixture. Let sit in fridge for at least 30 mins.
