easy fish tacos at home
Fish tacos… my absolute go-to.
I basically order fish tacos every single time I am out to eat while on an ocean vacation. They are just too good to pass up.
My brother lives in South Florida and sent me a picture of his lunch, which instantly made me crave/need fish tacos right then and there. Before starting this blog, I hardly cooked with fish but I am telling you guys, you should not be intimidated by it!
Back to my brother living in South Florida… every time I visit him, which is at least twice a year we try to go to new restaurant spots because he loves food just as much as me.

any white fish can be used - marinate the fish for about 30 minutes with olive oil, Cajun seasoning, garlic powder, sea salt and blackened seasoning. I also like to use a little bit of hot honey in the mixture as well!
1 bag of 1 whole bag of mixed cabbage - Trader Joes broccoli & kale mix is perfect for this!!
4 tbsp apple cider vinegar
4 tsp Dijion mustard

Whisk wet ingredients together in a bowl and then pour over cabbage mixture. Let sit in fridge for at least 30 mins.
half lime, juiced

add all ingredients to a blender and blend until creamy. You want it to be thick!
