spicy grapefruit guacamole
Yes, you read that right and it’s just as good as it sounds! This was honestly inspired by a spicy grapefruit marg I had lol but it was such a good combo and knew it would be killer with some avocados. I love bringing a big bowl of guac to parties because well, it’s a crowd favorite but it’s also something you can have fun with. There are so many different ways to make guacamole and you can easily taste and test as you go, which I am 100% guilty of and need to stop so I can get my measurements right for you guys!
Spicy Grapefruit Guacamole
Makes: 1 decent sized bowl, 6 servings | Total Time: 20 minutes
grapefruit - cut in half then half again and use one of the fourths
1-2 jalapenos, diced
cilantro - up to you! I used about 1/4 c
1/4 c red onion, chopped
2-3 pinches smoked sea salt, Maldon salt is the best!!
1/2 tsp garlic powder
Mash avocados in large bowl, super helpful to use a fork. Once mixed, add in spices and onions and jalapeno. For the grapefruit, I’d squeeze one half and then taste it. As you squeeze, pull out some of the pulp and sprinkle it throughout. Mix everything up and add in cilantro.
