the best toast combo
I love a good piece of toast, there’s just so much you can do with it. It’s finally peach season so I have been using these on just about everything… I am talking salads, yogurt bowls, smoothies, desserts.
I wanted to share this trick with you guys because it’s perfect for an easy breakfast. I used Lavva yogurt, which is my absolute favorite. It’s has probiotics, prebiotics, zero added sugar and is a plant based yogurt. IT’S PERFECT. Seriously, every yogurt I have found has cane sugar in it along with other ingredients you cannot pronounce, which I absolutely hate seeing.
Makes: 1 medium sized bowl | Prep Time: 3 mins | Total Time: 25 minutes | gluten free & dairy free
1 5oz container of Lavva yogurt - I use the plain flavor
2 tbsp chia seeds
A couple shakes of cinnamon
Mix yogurt with the chia seeds in a bowl and let sit in the fridge for at least 20 minutes. The longer you let sit, the thicker it will become. After your bread is done toasting, spread the yogurt mixture on the toast and top with whatever toppings you’d like!
